What is it?

What are some examples?

  • Group projects
  • Group activities
  • Authentic problems worked by groups

How do they work?

  • Put students into groups, typically no more than 4 students
  • Groups are given an assignment, activity, or complex problem to complete
  • Groups complete the assignment, activity, or complex problem using technology-based tools
  • Groups share their product with the rest of the class
  • Rubric is used to grade the final product for summative assessment (Example of a well-formatted rubric)
